Chiang mai is full of bars and nice places.
But here are some of the calmer places that I like.
But I also wanna say this is in Thailand, anything can happen, bars and restaurants open and close pretty quickly.
First one is a calm rooftop bar, Oasis rooftop bar.

They have many good beers, craft, IPA etc. They also have good drinks and wine. This is a really calm and relaxed environment
Then we have Baan Din. This is also a nice relaxed place. Here you can eat also. There it buckets that are the thing. But they have beer also of course.
The owner is really nice and works in with the customers.

In Night baazar we have a bar one floor up, Ram bar. Here they have live jazz music every night.

if you like live music this place or Jazz club which is close to the north gate in old Town. For me, the Jazz bar is a little bit to crowded, many times you don’t get a seat. So be prepared for it.
